Why Choose Rototek?
Rototek was formed in 1993 using custom built machinery and control software to assist in the develoment and manufacture of technically challenging rotomoulded products. The Company established itself as one of the UK's leading manufacturers of rotomoulded parts, and before long began to win worldwide acclaim for it's ability to tackle complex issues surrounding the process.
The next few years saw Rototek innovate in all areas concerning the rotational moulding process. Below is a breakdown of the key developments:
Machinery
Rototek currently run 7 rotomoulding machines, the largest of which is capable of mouldings up to 7m in length and 3m in diameter - one of the largest in Europe. Rototek have either built or specified the build of all the machines allowing them to be as versatile as possible. The resulting set-up allows Rototek to take on many projects not feasible elsewhere - both due to the size and the complexity of products possible.
Software
In order to ensure the best quality products, it is important to be in full control of the machinery used in manufacture. All the machines at Rototek run using control software developed and programmed in-house. Over the last 15 years Rototek has been involved in many research projects with the aim of improving the technology. The result is full control over the motion of the machine along with internal temperature control ensuring the optimum cure is reached in the material. This software also allows the thermal history of the mouldings to be recorded and stored.
Quality
Rototek's quality management system is certified to the ISO 9001 quality standard.
Every product manufactured at Rototek is recorded and given a unique identification number. Similarly, all oven cycles are logged allowing us to recall manufacturing data for every part produced.
Our quality management system and the procedures we have implemented in becoming ISO certified allow us to provide our customers with excellence in all aspects of rotational molding. Rototek work closely with clients to establish a set of checks and procedure which must be carried out before the product is despatched.
Rototek also provide an assembly and packing service allowing us to add value to the rotomouldings before they are shipped. Some products are even despatched direct to end users, eliminating the need for double handling.
