Martin Spencer - Managing Director

Martin Spencer is the Managing Director of Rototek.

Martin trained as an electrical engineer but started work in Composites producing kayaks and boats for use in international competition. From there he formed a company to produce composite foam sandwich paddles which were sold worldwide. As the kayak market moved from composites to Rotational moulding martin started to design for the process in 1981 and work in the process from 1985.

In 1993 he along with several other engineers formed Rototek to provide a technical rotational trade moulding service.

John Clafton - Human Resources/ Logistics Director

John's rotomoulding background began in 1981 at Scanro Limited where he work for 10 years in positions of Export Sales Manager, Purchasing Manager and Director. He went on to be Human Resources Manager in a national supermarket chain before joining the team at Rototek in 2002 as Human Resources Director.

Interests include fell walking, long distance cycle routes, running, sport, history and archaeology.  

Shaun Mills - Production Director

Shaun began working at Rototek in 1996, originally coming from an engineering background and after gaining 12 years experience in heating and oven management systems . During his time in the Company he has developed a wealth of experience in the rotomoulding process generally with an emphasis on Processes and Controls of three layer processing.

Shaun is responsible for the overall production facility including the sourcing and purchasing of all raw materials, production planning, oven programming and the technical training of the production team.

Stuart Wright - Product Development Manager

After graduating from Loughborough University in 2000 with a 2:1 in Industrial Design and Technology, Stuart worked as an architectural modelmaker for a short time before earning a placement on a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP). The KTP was a two year programme working for Loughborough University with the aim to establish a design capability within an SME. Once the two year programme was complete Stuart was offered the role of Product Development Manager.

Stuart is the first contact for all new enquiries coming into the Company. He is responsible for developing products for manufacture along with compiling quotations and managing the toolmaking process prior to handover to production in the factory.

Linda Cree - PA to the Managing Director/ Office Supervisor

Linda has worked for Rototek for just over ten years, she came to the Company from a medical administrative background. Whilst working for Rototek Linda has achieved her level 3 NVQ in Business Administration and 90 words per minute in shorthand. 

Her hobbies involve reading, motor biking, she is presently restoring a Yamaha FZR 400 for the track with the help of her husband, and this year she has done her one and only tandem parachute jump raising over £650.00 for Help for Heroes.
